Rental Rules and Policies

Please read this important information before booking your vacation

RESERVATIONS:

Our reservation desk is open from 9-5 central time Monday through Saturday. Telephone reservations are accepted with half of the rental amount due within ten (10) days of booking the unit. Non-receipt of this reservation deposit is cause for cancellation. Online reservations are accepted through our web site at www.gulfproperties.com with half or the rental amount due charged to an accepted credit card at the time the reservation is booked. The Deposit shown on the Reservation Detail is the Security Deposit described below.

SECURITY DEPOSITS:

Security deposits will be held on a separate signed and imprinted Credit Card Slip at Check-In. In the event of damage, guest will be notified and charged within 15 days of departure. In lieu of credit card deposits a cash deposit may be posted. Cash Security deposits will be returned 30 days after your departure date to the name and address given at the time the reservation is made. NO SECURITY DEPOSIT CAN BE ISSUED AT THE TIME OF DEPARTURE.

PAYMENT:

Payment must be made by cash, personal check, traveler's check, money order or cashier's check, visa or master card, or discover card.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES:

Check-in: 2 PM Check-out: 10 AM

Accommodations, when possible, may be made for early arrival and/or late departure. The charge for early check in and/or late checkout is half the nightly rental rate for the unit. A late checkout charge will be assessed if cleaning crews must move a guest(s) from a unit.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you cancel your reservation, we must have 30 days notice to return the advanced rent. A cancellation fee of 10% of the advanced rent will be collected on any reservation canceled 30 days before check-in. No refund will be made on cancellations made less than 30 days prior to your check-in date.

GROUPS:

All rentals are restricted to families or mature adults. GROUPS ARE NOT ALLOWED!! These include fraternities, sororities, high school or collage age singles, etc. If a group is found in a unit the rental agreement will be voided and the renters must vacate immediately. NO REFUND OF RENT OR SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE MADE.

NUMBER OF OCCUPANTS:

Each unit is furnished and equipped to accommodate only the number of occupants printed in our brochure, described by our reservationist or in the unit description on the web site. Many of our condominiums and townhomes have restrictions on the number of occupants permitted in a unit. If more than the allowed number of guest is found occupying a unit the party will be considered a GROUP.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:

You will check-in at our Navarre Beach Office at 8460 Gulf Blvd. Our office hours are from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Saturday. Please bring cash, personal checks, cashier checks, or Visa/MC/Discover ONLY. If you are sharing payments for your reservation, please have all payments ready before checking-in. Late check-in arrangements must be made in advance. A $10 late check-in fee will be charged for all late arrivals. Late arrivals are required to complete their check-in by noon on the next business day. Guest who do not complete their Check-in will be charged a $20 processing fee.

UNIT INSPECTIONS:

Please inspect your unit at check-in and report any damage or maintenance problems immediately. We do not maintain a 24-hour maintenance staff and there are limited service personnel available on weekends. Do not overload Refrigerators. Refrigerators may take 24 hours or longer to catch up when loaded with warm drinks or unfrozen supplies. We recommend using coolers and ice for your soft drinks and beer. Air Conditioners will freeze up if set too low in hot weather or if run with the windows or doors open. We recommend setting the thermostat no more than 10 degrees below the outside air temperature

WHAT TO BRING:

All units are privately owned and furnished by individual owners. Bed linens, essentials dishes and basic cooking utensils, and one towel per person will be in each unit. You may want to bring extra washcloths, towels, dishtowels or blankets. Furnishings and linens from the unit may not be taken to the beach. Bring your own beach towels, beach blankets and beach chairs.

SHOPPING:

There is one convenience store on Navarre Beach and a large Winn Dixie supermarket just across the Navarre Bridge. Large shopping malls are available in Ft. Walton Beach and Pensacola.

CHECKING OUT:

Please leave the unit reasonably neat with dishes clean and trash out. If extra cleaning crews are required the fee will be charged to your deposit. Checkout time is 10:00 AM. All units must be vacated by 10:00 AM to allow the cleaners to prepare the units for the incoming guest. We have a key drop on the office porch for early or late departures. There is a $5 charge for lost keys.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY UNIT:

If a pet is found in any unit you will be asked to leave. If evidence of a pet is found after your departure you will forfeit your security deposit.

OTHER POLICIES:

In the event a rental unit becomes unavailable between the time you confirm your reservation and your arrival date, we retain the right to move you to a comparable unit or refund your deposit at our discretion. In the event of a hurricane, you may expect a refund only in the case of mandatory evacuation by local civil defense authorities. We do not give REFUNDS for equipment, TV or appliance failures, however, we like satisfied guests and every effort is made to keep appliances and equipment in working order. Please report any problems to the rental office immediately. Neither the renal agent nor owner shall be responsible for providing any additional furnishings or appliances not presently in units. Failure to comply with rental rules and restrictions may result in the forfeiture of all deposits, assessment of additional moneys or both. This years Guest have first choice on re-booking the same unit for the same week next year. You must notify the office of your intention at checkout.
