Navarre Beach
Enjoy the beautiful white sands and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Lifeguards are stationed near the main beach parking area just across the Navarre Bridge. Red, yellow, or green flags are posted at all main beach entrances, indicating the strength of rip currents. Always use extreme caution when swimming in the Gulf. If red flags are out, it is advised to avoid swimming or swim where lifeguards are on duty.
Santa Rosa Sound
The Santa Rosa Sound is the intercostal waterway between the island and mainland Navarre. The sound offers calmer waters ideal for swimming, kayaking, boating, and more!

Part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore Park, Opal Beach offers a scenic drive between Navarre Beach and Pensacola Beach! Stop at one of the designated parking or pavilions to get out and enjoy all that the beach has to offer.
Navarre Family Watersports

The Navarre Fishing Pier reopened on June 5, 2010. This pier is the longest pier on the Gulf of Mexico at 1545 feet. The fishing pier is one of the most popular locations on Navarre Beach.

This recreation park is located on Hwy. 98 at the foot of the Navarre Beach toll bridge. Check out the playground, splash park, wildlife sanctuary, pier, picnic areas and scenic walkways. This is a great free outing for the kids!
